The Middlesex Fire Department is responsible for handling fire protection and suppression to the residents and business owners in our town. We protect an area of approximately 4 square miles, with a population of 13,500. The town is primarily light residential, with light to medium commercial and a heavy industrial area along the train tracks. Calls that are responded to include structure fires, fire alarm activations, motor vehicle accidents, CO alarms, and many other emergency situations.
